Valentine Plotting

Valentine's Day plotting is happening. Sadly this means I can't post my projects until this time next week!
That's not to say I have stopped crafting this week. What with the snow etc. I have been ultra busy. But with the constant indoors-ness comes laziness. I haven't been scanning the images so there's no photos to post at present.

I promise to be better tomorrow!

Waterfall Card

I always thought these cards were really tricky to make. Turns out I was wrong! You can pull the bottom green piece of card and the images roll under so each one is on top, one at a time. Really clever!

Plus I had a good reason to use some eyelets, my new pack of Soft Subtles card and my SAB set, Polka Dot Punches. I inked the white background of the card with Certainly Celery which gave it a textured look.

I'm definately going to be running a class on how to make these beauties!

Cute card set

I made this card set for a friend's birthday. The case is made from a 12x12 sheet of card I bought a long while ago. It's really nice card as it has gold bits that shimmer in the light. It doesn't really show up on the scanned picture.

Inside it I put these 4 cards. I used my rub-ons from Stampin' Up! that I got a while ago and used Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip card with Whisper White to complement it. I couldn't resist adding some Stickles glitter glue!!!

Polka Dot Punches - SAB set

I made these cards with the SAB *free* stamp set called Polka Dot punches. The genius thing about this stamp set is that it coordinates with the scalloped circle punch, the 1 1/4" circle punch and the flower punch. So clever! I had a fun evening playing with my new set and these were the final results...
The one with the purple ribbon is my favourite as it was the first time I'd used my new Aubergine ribbon.
The other orange card used some flower sequins that have been lurking in my stash for waaaay too long.
The valentine card is quite cute. I think I might as a greeting at some point though, as it doesn't quite look finished to me. What do you think?
