My bunny baby

Here's a scrapbook page that I out together using a cute photo I found of munchkin. Just as I was finishing it off I came across the handprint she'd done heading for the recycling. Amazing!!!

Happy 4 years!

Today sees us celebrate 4 happy years of marriage! Seems a life time ago and only yesterday at the same time. Got a lovely cat card from Mr T and below is the card I made for him. It had to be big to hold the message I wrote so its pretty large, hence a whole doily doesn't take over the space!

We will be celebrating properly tomorrow night by recreating our first proper date! (Not the one at the pub where we checked out that each other wasn't a weirdo!)

Whale-y great day

Here, as promised, is the card made with Sunshine & Sprinkles DSP. A large punch cut out an image and then mounted it onto glimmer paper and used Wacky Words to compliment the whimsy-feel of the card.

For the Munchkin fans:
Here is Munckin visiting Wisley gardens a few weeks ago with my Dad.
I'm guessing he took the first two photos. There were a number of photos that appeared that munchkin herself must have taken! Below are my two favourites:

Scrapbook Club - April 2013

Sunshine and Sprinkles has to be my favourite designer series paper set that Stampin' Up! have produced, possibly EVER.I love it's whimsical designs and cute images. Plus the vivid colours are just perfect for my style of crafting.

This page was highly influenced by my friend Lesley who was scrapbooking alongside me. She had such great ideas! It's hard to see in the photo but there is lots of glimmer paper and shiny bits. My new zigzag embossing folder had it's first outing and generally provided me with a fun evening's entertainment.

Check back in a couple of days for another project made using this fabulous DSP.

Thank yous

Here is a quick thank you card I made from leftovers in the boutique box kit (seasonal catalogue).

Really quick and simple.

Here also are a couple of pictures from our weekend in London. We went to celebrate my forthcoming birthday.

There's one of us together when we went out for dinner and the other is the view from our bedroom window at the hotel of Marble Arch. A really lovely treat of a weekend!

Mother's Day pt2

As I have a lovely mother in law I have also made her a card too. Don't tell her that its posted here!

This one features cute butterflies cut out in the More Amore papers like yesterday's post.

Such elegant paper designs means that there is little cause for loads of embellishments although I couldn't resist a pearl or three!

Mother's Day is nearly here

It's been ages since I posted as I got into some sort of creative funk. Fortunately Mother's Day has forced me to pull my finger out!

Here is a card made with the lovely More Amore speciality designer series paper (pg10 seasonal). It's beautiful and there are two laser cut sheets as well as 5 double sided patterned pieces.

The 'Mum' writing comes from the Noteable Alphabet set. Very cute.

For the munchkin fans I've posted a couple of pictures from earlier this week when we had a lovely outing to the park.

P.s. I've got a few more posts planned so do check back soon!!!

Boutique boxes

This cute kit is helping me get my mojo back!

The boxes come ready cut and scored so they just need a little glue to fix them together. Then all the decorations are included.

I didn't make all the boxes but the buttons, die cuts, bakers twine and stamp-a-ble bits all going to leave me with excess that could be used to make a coordinating greeting card.

Perfect gift boxes for costume jewellery/earrings that need jazzing up before being given to the recipient.

How do you get your mojo back if its gone off the boil?

Love you Mr T!

A relatively feminine card for Mr T. How I love him! I tried to avoid pink but I could resist the heart.

I used a couple of new items from the Spring/Summer seasonal catalogue: Artisan Embellishment kit (pg10) and Flower Trim (pg5).

The base is from the National Composition Speciality collection in the main catalogue (pg162). Its fabulous as it comes ready embossed!

What have you done for your sweet today?

Knitting a teacosy

It's been the perfect time for cosying up and watching movies and KNITTING! Here is my latest project - a tea cosy!!! I found a free tutorial for it on Pinterest and made it from there.

In hindsight white may be a poor colour choice when it comes to tea!!!

Sewn flowers

Hello again!

Here's a project I put together last night to cover up an unsightly gap in our kitchen. The idea was sparked by a Cath Kidston book that had appliqué flowers.

Very short term I considered hand cutting out the felt flowers by hand.

Then I came to my senses and realised that the Big Shot is the ideal tool. It took about 20 minutes to cut out all the pieces. They were then ironed onto the fabric and embroidered with detail.

Easy peasy and nice & quick!

Scrapbook club - January 2013

We had scrapbook club this week and used a kit to get back into our mojo!

The sticker sheets are fab and the whole page came together in less than an hour! Awesome work and the kit left more than 7 pages worth of goodies left for future pages. A bargain at £18.95 for the whole kit.

Have you begun your 2013 Scrapbooking adventure?
