Last night

Was training night! Lovely Diane ran a class for demos to make this lovely waterfall book - originally inspired by Jenny Moors.

Each book ended up completely different and mine was based on chickens!

The inside was decorated with pirouette pink swirls from Everything Eleanor and sponging in Crumb Cake.

On the inside is a tab you pull to make the pages move - like a waterfall!

This Top note could be where a message is written for the recipient. As you can see mine is blank as I didn't have anyone in mind at the time of making it.

This weekend promises to be a fun family one as we have lots of time to hang out. Already lovely husband has made me a delicious breakfast so we are off to a good start!

Wedding bells

This is the gift I made for a dear friend who got married yesterday. She had a gorgeous dress and looked really happy. I hope that she will fill this album with photos of her big day or her honeymoon.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Tidd!

The album was made using the Simply Scrappin kit, Love Stories, featuring the colours Certainly Celery, Close to Cocoa, Pretty in Pink and Bashful Blue. The kit is great because it contains cardstock, patterned paper and self-adhesive die-cuts that all coordinate beautifully. Even better you plenty of left over bits and bobs from this project so you can use them to embellish cards, envelopes etc.

Also, don't forget that the craft sale I've organised is next Saturday at St Peter's Hall in Ash from 10-12. There are still a few tables left so book one now if you have craft materials you'd like to sell.

Dates to Remember

This is based on an article I read in Simply Handmade magazine. It's a 6x6" album where the front of each page protector is covered and decorated and has a different month. Then you write all the major birthdays/anniversaries etc. on the pages and you can slip in cards that you have made into the page protector pocket behind.

P.S. I am planning an Open House on the 10th & 11th April so look out for more information in the coming days...
