Welcome to my 12 Days of Christmas series! Easy and quick festive projects to give your home that handmade cosy feeling, plus gifts for neighbours, friends and family.
Today's project might give you a kickstart to make some Christmas cards if you haven't already.
This is the finished card:

Here is the alternative card made using a cookie cutter as a template. You could also try large Die cuts such as butterflies, other festive shapes or circles for different cards.
It's Saturday again so here is my weekly video! This week I am showing you how to do a technique called Emboss Resist. This means embossing an image and then adding ink on top. A bit like those drawings we all did as children using white crayons and then washing over them with paint to reveal the picture we'd drawn underneath.
Here is a visual of the stamp set featured, Summer Silhouettes:
Hello and Happy Saturday! I hope you are having a great day. It's been a busy one for us with a family BBQ and cleaning, running and tidying already under our belt.
Here is a new Delicate Doilies video. The idea was to show how versatile the set it as it is portrayed as quite feminine in the Ideas Book & Catalogue 2011-12. The colours used are Real Red, Old Olive and Marina Mist. The sentiment comes from the set Trendy Trees.
I hope you enjoy and please add a link if you've made a card with Delicate Doilies that is not so feminine!
Hello all! Here's a new video making a card using Creative Elements and the background stamp En Francais. Hope you like it. The original design was inspired by one on SCS.
The card also uses two types of embossing, one on the Big Shot and the other using Vanilla scented embossing powder. Yum!
What are you up to this weekend? We are going to be sorting out our jungle-style garden. It's amazing how fast it grows whent there's about 6 weeks of heavy rain and then tons of sunshine....
