Sweet little cupcake
I had to post this picture for the very talented Mrs Wonka who gave Immy this sweet outfit. However I need to apologise as DH took the picture, after I'd explained that I wanted to show off the cute slogan on the top... well there is a photo at least!
The Farnborough Make It! Show was good but v hard work. Big thanks to Natalie for organising the whole stand. She really did us all at Stampin' Up! proud. It was great to see lots of familiar and new faces each day. If I saw you there, hello!
Tomorrow I hope to post a crafty picture or two... I've got a stinky cold so I'm not too crafty today.

Farnborough Make It! Show
Chocolate Favours
A simple but stylish table decoration is a chocolate favour. These are made with 3/8" circles that have been stamped with a co-ordinating colour. These are mounted on circle scallops and these sandwich Elizabeth Shaw after dinner mints. You can buy these from most supermarkets and come in mint and orange flavours.
You can embellish the stamped images with brad and glitter. You could even print the bride & groom's initals if they were for your wedding table. The perfect accompaniment to after dinner coffee no matter what the occasion!

Hairslides
The idea from this was from the wonderful Monica Gale. She has a fabby video tutorial so I won't even try and give detailed instructions as her tutorial is just great.
These hairslides are made with regular hairslides from the supermarket. The slides take minutes to make and are a great gift. You can even make them match to your bridesmaid dresses or put them on the top of favour boxes.
The pink slide is made from Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose card. The blue one is made from Bashful Blue and Bordering Blue.
We wore the blue ones yesterday to go along with my Blue Angel theme and it was great to show yet another use for the lovely Scallop Circle Punch.

Guildford Holiday Inn Wedding Fair
Today we were at the Holiday Inn Guildford with a stand at their Spring wedding fair. It was a grotty day outside but we had fun showing everyone the great opportunities the Stampin Up! products can give people planning their wedding.
(If you were there and saw us we would love you to comment and give us some feedback!)
We met lots of excited brides-to-be and we hope to meet up with them again soon!
In the coming weeks I intend to post many wedding related posts as we have been making so many gorgeous things for weddings recently! Look out for some tutorials so you can re-create them yourself!!!

Wedding Fair
Although we have been making our own wedding stationary for a while now, we have noticed that lots of people are wanting to do the same. The problem is that unless you do a fair bit of crafting already, it's how to make them that is the problem.
Also, it's great to have everything co-ordinated and this is something that Stampin' Up! excel at. We are here to help!!
We have a stand at the Guildford Holiday Inn wedding fair this Sunday. Come along and see all the yummy things we can help youmake for your wedding! See some more previews here.

Valentine Swap (plus an extra)
Here is my lovely Valentine swap that I did with the lovelies on ILWS (In Love With Stamping) website. The one with the gingham heart is one I made for my other half a couple of years ago now, but I added it in for good measure.
Can you believe you can make all these goodies with yummy Stampin' Up! supplies? Amazing!!!

Rustic Valentine
Here is another Valentine that I created to take part in the Colour Challenge this website.
I seem to be having a week of using some random bits in my stash. I found this gingham card in the bottom of my 'red' file and thought it looked nice.
The hearts were punched out then fixed with removeable adhesive so that they stayed in place while I used my sewing machine to run 2 rows of straight stitching on it.
I managed to squeeze an extra bit of stamping onto the envelope using markers to make it two different colours. Fingers crossed my Dad gets brownie points from my Mum with this card!

Sympathy Card
Never having made a sympathy card before I was unprepared. So unprepared that I didn't even have a suitable sentiment stamp! I had to improvise with my computer. Most cards are colourful that I make so it's been a real change to have a sombre palette of Chocolate chip, kraft and Old Olive.
Simple but effective, do you agree?

Happy Moments SAB set
Rather delayed but better late than never, here are some lovely SAB set cards. The ideas for these card were shamelessly taken from the SCS gallery cards posted by Kristin Moore. I love love love this stamp set. I took the opportunity to practice my watercolouring skills and I'm pleased with the results (usually I'm not!)
Anyway the genius thing about this stamp set is that it is so simple and versatile. The original idea by Kristin Moore was done in brown and turquiose but I used Close to Cocoa and Regal Rose in mine. Plus it took less than 30 minutes to make all 4 cards. Great for allowing you to create a stash of cards for those last minute occasions where you need a card *now*.
The flower card had some shiny Crystal Effects added to highlight parts of the flowers which is subtle but effective. The birdcage has some linen thread and a brad attached to the top of it and I couldn't resist using a bit of grosgrain ribbion on the cake card. Yum!
