3 more sleeps!

It's almost unbearable, isn't it?! Only 3 more sleeps and then Mini Catalogue heaven!! To keep you going until then I wanted to let you know that I have two more papershares available. At only £14.60 for a piece of every design (except pattern stacks) this is a total bargain. Taking this photo was really hard as I wanted to show you everything! However, the papers are double-sided so you'll have to use your imagination/catalogue to envisage how great all the papers look in real life.

Nail polish mini gift

Happy Sunday! It's been a glorious day so here is a brightly coloured project to share with you. It uses the lovely Artistic Etchings stamp set - ladies, if you were on my retreat day last week you can get your set out again to make this! - and features Pretty in Pink, Rose Red and Pear Pizzazz.
Circle punches were used to cut out holes for two small bottles of nail polish to sit in. I got the nail polish from a well-known bargain clothes shop. These would be nice table gifts at a girly dinner/hen party or a small gift for a friend.

Hope you've had a good weekend. We had a super-fast shopping trip around Basingstoke and then went to my SIL for a scrummy roast lunch. See you again soon!!

First Team Training

Today I hosted my first Blue Angel team training. We had a good laugh, ate cake and planned our Mini Catalogue Launch parties (don't forget mine is 9th April - book your space now!) Then after the business chat we had to have a play, of course! Above you can see Diane, Amy & Katie (L-R) busily playing. If you'd like to come to training, why not join my team? Email me for more information blueangelcrafts@gmail.com
Here is a photograph from a scrapbook page we showed people at the Make It! Show at the end of February. It uses the Growing Green stamp set and features Old Olive, Very Vanilla and Cajun Craze colours. The images were stamped and then scribbled/coloured in using a marker. Naturally there is some scrummy ribbon too - look our for a satin ribbon share coming soon on this blog! The scrapbook page givess a simple but quite a modern look, I think.
Tomorrow we're going to celebrate my birthday (it was actually on the 12th) with my in-laws so I am looking forward to a lovely family lunch - my sister in law is a great cook so I know we'll eat something delicious! See you again soon...

Weekend aftermath

It's a new week and Wednesday already! Saturday was my first ever all day craft event and it went really well. I hope all the ladies enjoyed it as much as me. I had two of my downline, Diane & Amy, at my side we entertained 18 other ladies! Below is the project we started with first. (Recognise the design, Natalie?!) Each lady got their own copy of Artistic Etchings stamp set which was used on the above project. If you'd like to join me at the next all day craft event, book now for Saturday 2nd July! The cost is £35 including a light lunch and a stamp set plus all craft materials (except a basic tool kit).
For those who are Munchkin fans, here is the latest - this is her painting last week. Can you tell she enjoyed it?!
I'll be back soon with more projects. I'm currently snowed under creating samples for my party to launch the Spring Mini Catalogue, on Saturday 9th April 2-4pm. Email me to book your space and ensure you get a goodie bag!! blueangelcrafts@gmail.com

Designer Paper Share

*** EDIT: Only 2 shares left!***

Hello all! I wanted to invite you join my Designer Paper Share.

I need 8 people to join the share but slot already filled (me!). I can only afford one share as I've been splurging in preparation for my Mini Catalogue launch party (put 9th of April into your diary now!!!).

Anyhoooo back to the papers. ALL of them are gorgeous!!! However buying them all is out of most people's budgets. All 13 packs (NOT including pattern stacks) would total £116.15 and if we're being brutally honest, it's unlikely that many of us would be able to use that much paper.

So, how would you like to get your hands on a BIT OF EVERYTHING (not including Pattern Stacks) for £14.60?!! That's less than the price of a big punch. In this share you'll receive one 6"x6" square of each double-sided sheet from the following collections:

  • Sweet & Sour Specialty (£9.95 full pack)
  • Nursery Suite Speciality (£9.95 full pack, please note: one of these is a circle so you'll receive a quarter of a circle of that one)
  • Greenhouse Gala (£8.75 per full pack, as are the rest of the list)
  • Woodland Walk
  • Love Letter
  • Celebrations
  • Blueberry Crisp
  • Newsprint
  • Jolly Holiday
  • Lap of Luxury
  • Sunny Garden
  • Elegant Soiree
  • Play Day

See pg 88-91 of the current Idea Book & Catalogue for pictures etc. Please note that the Pattern Stacks are not included in this offer as they are a total bargain as they stand and worth the investment.

The 6x6 sheets you receive would be perfect for 6x6 scrapbook pages, embellishing cards and other projects too. It won't take you long to decide on your favourites and then you can order full packs of those designs as you fancy. Each sheet is double-sided, if you'd like to make the most of every pattern you could take two slots in the share.

There are limited spaces on this share so please email me (blueangelcrafts@gmail.com) ASAP to book your slot! The papers will be delivered to me, where I will cut them to size, and then you can collect them or I can post it out to you at cost or give it to you when I see you at my next event e.g. Mini catalogue launch party on the 9th April!!

I'll order as soon as all the slots are taken, but I am aiming to fill the slots by the end of Monday 20th March ready to place my next order on Tuesday 21st March.

My lovely downlines!

Today I thought I'd share some of the creations made by my darling downline. They are a creative bunch!
First we have Amy who made me this GORGEOUS birthday card featuring Crazy for Cupcakes. She's my birthday twin so I hope she had a good day yesterday. I have a card and gift to drop off! Next we have Diane who makes fabulous cards and uses techniques that I am not great at. Her work is so inspirational to me! This card features masking which is a technique I'll have to try having seen how effective it is here. Diane used So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red and Basic Black inks. The two step bird punch makes a fantastic silhouette and then the sentiment is from Sense of Time stamp set.
Next we have Katie who also came to the training with Diane and me. Katie used Cheers to You stamp set for the drinks and sadly retired So Happy For You SAB set. Love the colours she chose as she used a very funky combination.

Another downline with a sweet website is Bev. She lives over in Reading and has some wonderful creations on her website.
Hope these cards inspire you and you get a chance to see their blogs/websites. We're off to visit my grandmother who is still very poorly in hospital and before that we're going shopping to spend my birthday vouchers. Have a happy Sunday!!

Regional Training

Hello all - did you miss me? I've not been myself in the last week but I think I've turned a corner and normal service should soon be resumed.

Today was the regional training in Hounslow. It was very exciting to see my upline, Natalie, AND 2 of my lovely downline! There was laughter, ink, photos and chatter. Excitingly I got recognition for my sales in January! I had to stand up in front of everyone which a surprise!! If you'd like to join me at the next Stampin' Up! training event, why not join my team? Contact me for more information blueangelcrafts@gmail.com

A tradition at all events where demos meet up is to do "swaps". This is where you get to take home a little piece of other people's creations. Above is a copy of my swap card. Sadly i took the photo in artificial light so the colours look a bit odd, but the combo is Real Red, Whisper White and Basic Black. The stamps I used are Growing Green (in black) which I coloured with a red marker. The sentiment is from Simply Said - I just love the curvy script - and stamped it in red.

Hope you are well and I aim to be back posting regularly on here so see you again soon!!

Get well soon

Today I have a card for you that I made in the middle of the night! I've not been well and couldn't sleep so I got creative. This was inspired by a card I saw made by Vicky. I used Growing Green stamped in Always Artichoke and then coloured with blender pens in Pear Pizzazz.
The squares of stamped image are 1" square and these are mounted on Pear Pizzazz CS. Underneath this is a layer of patterned paper. I thought this was Pear Pizzazz in rubbish artificial light but in the cold light of day I might have mixed it up with Certainly Celery. Anyhooo I think it looks sweet.
There is a bit of gold thread and then a sentiment from Sincere Salutations. This is another card for my poor grandmother who is really very unwell. I hope that I will be able give this to her very soon.

Growing Green Scrapbook page

Hello hello! It's Wednesday already and I've a scrapbook page to share with you. I can't take credit for this as my upline Natalie designed the page but this is the one I made. It features the stamp set Growing Green and the colours Crumb Cake, Old Olive and Cajun Craze.
Lots of punches and a little satin ribbon. Yum!! Natalie taught this layout at the Farnborough Make It Show last weekend and it seemed to be well received.
Today I've been making samples for the craft day I am running on Saturday 19th March. It's not too late to book a place if you'd like to join us! Email me for more information: blueangelcrafts@gmail.com
See you again soon!
